Scabblesque is operated by SinkyTyger, based in Sweden. By accessing or using Scabblesque (the “Service”), you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
1. Use of the Service
The Service is provided for personal, non-commercial use as a word-game study and scoring aid. You agree not to misuse it, including attempting to disrupt it, scraping it at a scale that degrades it for others, or using it for any unlawful purpose.
2. No guarantee of accuracy
We work hard to implement scoring rules correctly, but the Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. Word validity and scoring can differ between official dictionaries and rule sets. The adjudication authority for your specific game always takes precedence. See the disclaimer for more.
3. Intellectual property
The site’s text, design, and code are owned by us or our licensors. Trademarks referenced for descriptive purposes remain the property of their respective owners, who do not endorse this site.
4. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Service. Your sole remedy for dissatisfaction is to stop using it.
5. Changes
We may modify the Service or these terms at any time. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
6. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Sweden, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes arising from them are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Sweden.
